Archiving Policy
JRPM: Jurnal Riset Pecinta Matematika is committed to the permanent preservation and accessibility of the scholarly research it publishes. Our archiving policy ensures that all articles are securely stored and available for future research and reference.
Digital Archiving
- Institutional Repositories: All articles published in JRPM are archived in institutional repositories to ensure their long-term digital preservation. This includes the repository of Yayasan Cinta Matematika and other affiliated academic institutions.
- LOCKSS: We utilize the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries. This ensures that a secure and permanent archive of the journal is maintained.
- PKP Preservation Network: JRPM participates in the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) Preservation Network, which provides decentralized and distributed preservation of digital content.
Self-Archiving
- Author Rights: Authors are encouraged to self-archive the final published version of their articles in institutional repositories, personal websites, or other open access platforms immediately upon publication.
- Preprints: Authors are also allowed to deposit preprint versions of their articles in preprint servers before and during the submission process.
Access and Availability
- Open Access: All archived articles are freely accessible to the public without any subscription or access fees. This supports our commitment to the principles of open access and the wide dissemination of knowledge.
- Permanent URLs: Each published article is assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to ensure that it can always be found and cited.
Backup and Recovery
- Regular Backups: The journal’s digital content is regularly backed up to prevent data loss. These backups are stored in multiple secure locations.
- Disaster Recovery: JRPM has a disaster recovery plan in place to quickly restore access to the journal’s content in the event of a technical failure or other emergencies.
Policy Review
- Regular Review: The archiving policy is reviewed regularly to ensure that it meets current best practices and technological standards.
- Updates and Improvements: Any updates or improvements to the policy will be communicated to the authors, readers, and other stakeholders through the journal’s website.
